FORMAT AND RULES
Qualifying: Starts on Monday, March 28, 2022 from 5:30 PM till 10:30 PM (Last Entry)
During Ramadan, starts at 6:30 PM till 12:30 AM (Last Entry)
Last Qualifying Round: Sunday, April 13, 2022
FINALS: April 14 – 15, 2022 @ 8:30 PM
HOW TO QUALIFY?
· Open to all bowlers
· Will bowl total of 9 games (3 games each squad)
· 5 handicap/ Scratch (with an average of 181 to 190)
· 10 handicap/ Scratch (with an average of 180 and below) and for Ladies 15 Handicap
· If there are 12 Women athletes bowled in the tournament; there will be individual women tournament.
Prize 1st 2,500 QR, 2nd 1,500 QR, and 3rd 1,000 QR.
· Entering Average – Ave. from QBF or QBC Clubs from year Ramadan Tournament 2019 (Min. 18 games)
· For those overseas bowlers and bowlers with no record to any club/ league will be decided by the technical committee head.
QUALIFYING TIME: DAILY (during Ramadan start at 6:30 PM till 12:30 AM (Last
entry), NO PRACTICE ALLOWED IN THE TOURNAMENT LANES.)
Note: Tablets will be in locked mode during try out, only designated person allowed to make score corrections.
FINALS
STEP 1
Positions 1 to 8 will advance to Step 2
- Positions 9 to 32 (24 bowlers) will play total of 6 games. Top 12 bowlers will continue to step 2.
Step 2
Top 8 from Qualifying + 12 bowlers from step 1 (20 bowlers) will play total of 6 Games in this round.
The top 5 bowlers will advance to the next round.
Step 3
- Positions 3 – 4 – 5 will play 1 Game. Winner in this match will play against Position 2 in the Semi Finals.
Step 4 – Semi Final
- Position 2 vs Winner from Step 3 will play 1 Game. The winner in this round will play with Position1 in the Finals.
Step 5 – FINALS
- Position 1 vs. Winner from step 4 will play 1 Game. Winner in this match will be the champion.
TIE BREAKING RULES:
- Qualification Rounds – the highest squad
- Step 1 & 2 – the highest game
- Step3 – 4 & 5 - one ball roll off on a full set of pins will be played, repeated until the tie is broken
Lane Assignment and Lane Movement
- During Qualification - minimum 3 players per lane
Frequency of Movement during Finals (Top 24) - after each game.
- Movement Method - left lane players moving left / right lane players moving right
- Number of lanes to move - 2 lanes during Finals (Top 32)
ENTRY POLICY
1. Maximum number of entries - unlimited
2. Will bowl 3 sets of 3 games (total of 9 games)
3. Cancellation of game is possible BUT has to start a new squad.
4. Bowler who cancelled squad has to wait until the rest of the players in his lane were completed the current squad. Otherwise, he has an option to transfer to other lane.
5. Fee is NON-REFUNDABLE.
6. Re-entry procedure - using the first come, first serve basis and the availability of lanes
7. Maximum of 3 bowlers per lane to have a re-entry. Tournament lanes cannot be used for practice.
8. Tournament Committee reserves the right to decline entries based on availability
9. Submitting the entry forms and fees means a bowler agreed to abide by Tournament rules and policies.
10. During Qualification - bowlers present on a tryout cannot refuse someone to join in his lane.
11. A bowler with NO record/s from any bowling Club will automatically no points or will be decided by the Technical committee head.
NOTE: All entry forms must bear the signature of the players
Call for reserved - TOP 24 -- 5 minutes before the practice starts

Reminders:
- NO caps, hats, short shorts, tank tops or halter tops (During Qualifying and Finals)
- NO jeans or "maong", Capri pants (During Qualifying and Finals)
- NO smoking using E-Cigarettes while inside the bowling center.
