Qualification 6 games qualification (entries and re-entries) Desperado squad 1 game Composing top 43 A: 2 players from a separate standing in the squads conducted on Wednesday 4 December B: 2 players from a separate standing in the squads conducted on Thursday 5 December C: 2 players from a separate standing in the squads conducted on Friday 6 December D: 34 players from the general standing including results from all qualification squads E: 3 players from the desperado squad Players are qualified from the categories in the order D - C - B - A If a player is qualified in more than one category, the next player on the list in the category where his qualification is unused, will qualify Qualification to steps Players qualified from the A-standing (2), the B-standing (2), the C-standing (2), the desperado (E) standing (3) and players positioned 11-34 in the general (D) standing (24) will qualify for the final step 1 Players positioned 1-10 in the general standing will qualify for the final step 2 Final step 1 33 players will play 6 games starting from scratch Top 18 will qualify for the final step 2 Players not continuing to the final step 2 will be ranked 29-43 according to their positions in the standing of the final step 1 Final step 2 28 players will play 6 games starting from scratch Top 4 will qualify for the final step 3, seeded 1-4 Players not continuing to the final step 3 will be ranked 5-28 according to their positions in the standing of the final step 2 Final step 3 2 matches (seeded 1 vs. seeded 4 and seeded 2 vs. seeded 3), 2 games total pin fall The 2 winners will continue to the final step 4 The 2 losers will be ranked 3-4 according to their seeding Final step 4 1 match, 2 games total pin fall The loser will be ranked 2 The winner will be ranked 1 |
| Tournament Tie Rules |
|
Qualification and the final step 1-2 In case of a tie, the highest ranked player will be the player with the highest last game. If a tie still exists the highest ranked player will be the player with the highest second last game, then the player with the highest third last game etc. Final step 3-4 In case of a tie in a match, a one ball roll off on a full set of pins will be played, repeated until the tie is broken. Desperado In case of tie in the desperado squad, the highest positioned player will be the player with the highest position after the qualification. |
