How to Qualify? 

A. 28 players from the general standing

B. 2 top Qatari youth players after top 28 general standing.

C.2 top any Qatari players after top 28 general standing

D.4 players from desperado squad

STEP 1 Finals

30 players ( 22 players from A(pos. 7- 28) + 2 players from B + 2 players

from C + 4 players from D) will play 5 games starting from scratch.

Top 10 will qualify for step 2

Players positioned 1-6 in the general standing will qualify for step 2

Players not continuing to step 2 will be ranked pos. 17-36

STEP 2 Finals

16 Players will play 5 games starting from scratch. Top 4 will qualify for step 3.Player not continuing for step 3 will be ranked 5-16 according to their position in their standing from step 2.

STEP 3 Finals

2 MATCHES (seeded 1 vs. seeded 4 & seeded 2 vs. seeded 3. 2 games total pinfall.2 winners will continue to step 4. Players not continuing to step 4 will be ranked position 3 - 4.

1 MATCH (WINNER VS. WINNER) 2 GAMES TOTAL PIN FALL

Tournament Tie Rules

Qualification +

Step 1 & 2     

The highest ranked player will be the player with the highest last game.

If a tie still exists the highest ranked player with the highest 2nd last game, the player with the highest 3rd game etc.

Step 3to 4

One (1) ball roll off on a full set of pins will be played, repeated till the tie is broken.

Desperado

One (1) ball roll off will be played, repeated till the tie is broken.

Tournament Rules

1. Sanction

This tournament is sanctioned by QBF, FIQ-WTBA, Asian Zone & FIQ-WTBA world 

2.Eligibility

This is a single tournament that is OPEN to ALL

Exception: Any bowler from any reason that are suspended from its federation or association. Any bowler under 14 years of age.

3.Register for Squad

Qualification:

1. Will be played in 2 (A and B) Squads with a maximum of 60 players in each squad ( a total of 120 players). A player can choose to play in either A Squad or B squad or both squads. You can only register a squad / squads via our official website (www.qatarbowlingfederation.com). Last date to register online is February 21, 2014. Registration in the bowling center will be accepted depending on the available slots on each squad. Please check our website to know the squad availability. 

Desperado:

Any player that has registered and played for a squad is entitled to play the Desperado squad.

4. Lane Movement 

Qualification: 5+5 games. Players move after every game. Left move to left, right move to right.

Finals:

Step 1 & 2 5 games Will move left / right after every game.

Step 3 & 4 2games will be played on the same pair of lanes.

Important Reminders:

Attire

Shirts / polo shirts / slacks or any long pants. 

NOTE: NO JEANS ALLOWED

Anybody found smoking while the game is in progress will be automatically out from the tournament.

Not to be placed on top of the keyboards.

Servicing of Bowling Ball

No servicing of bowling balls between the games. It could be done after the squad.
