Rules and Format

DATES: Qualifying rounds - starts on Friday, MAY 20, 2016 from 5:00 PM till 11:00 PM (Last Entry)

During Ramadan, starts @ 7:00 PM till 1:00 AM (Last Entry)

Last qualifying round dates:

DIVISION B – June 23, 2016

DIVISION A – June 25, 2016

Final dates:

DIVISION B – June 24-25, 2016

DIVISION A – June 26-27, 2016

QUALIFYING ROUNDS:

DIVISION A - SCRATCH GAME

DIVISION B - HANDICAP GAME

Open to all bowlers w/ an average of 185 and below
will bowl 2 sets of 3 games (total of 6 games)
Entering Ave. - total average from QBC/QBF clubs of the year 2015 - 2016 (minimum 9 games)
Maximum Hdcp - 10 (see handicap range below)
Ladies and children 13 below - Hdcp + 3
For outside bowlers joining the tournament, automatic classified as A.

QUALIFYING TIME: DAILY (Starts 6:00 pm and ends at 1:00 am as last entry, NO PRACTICE ALLOWED IN THE TOURNAMENT LANES.)

Note: Keyboard console will be on locked mode during try out, only designated person allowed to make score corrections.

FINALS (4 Days)

Day 1

TOP 16 Division B (16) will play 8 games; carry over score from the Qualifying results, Changing lanes every game.

Day 2

TOP 8 Div. B- Play a total of 6 games, starting from scratch, changing lane every game.

TOP 3 Div. B - STEP LADDER (1st Match - 1 Game) Pos. 1 is twice to beat.

Day 3

TOP 16 - Division A (16) will play 8 games; carry over score from the Qualifying,

Changing lanes every game.

Day 4

TOP 8 Div. A - Plays a total of 6 games, starting from scratch, changing lanes every game.

TOP 3 Div. A - STEP LADDER (1st Match - 1 Game) Pos. 1 is twice to beat.

TIE BREAKING PROCEDURES:

Q-Rounds - Pos. 16 - Game of the 6 game, then 5th game & etc. of the game involved

Top 8 - game 6th game then 5th game & etc. of the game involved

Grand Finals - one ball shot till the tie is broken.

Lane Assignment and Lane Movement

During Qualification - minimum 2 players per lane
Frequency of Movement during Finals - after each second game.
Movement Method - left lane players moving left / right lane players moving right
Number of lanes to move - 2 lanes during Finals

ENTRY POLICY

Maximum number of entries is unlimited
Will bowl 2 sets of 3 games (total of 6 games)
Cancelling of Re-entries is possible
Re-entry procedure - using the first come, first serve basis and the availability of lanes
Maximum3 bowlers per lane to have a re-entry. Tournament lanes cannot be used for practice.
Tournament Committee reserves the right to decline entries based on availability
Submitting the entry forms and fees means a bowler agreed to abide by Tournament rules and policies.
During Qualification - bowlers present on tryout cannot refuse in an additional entry is added to qualify.

NOTE: All entry forms must bear the signature of the players (QBC AUDIT)

Call for reserved - TOP 16 - 5 minutes before the practice starts
